Monitoring Loops

FESP 5133-F - Field Monitoring Coil

  • FESP 5133-F_1
  • FESP 5133-F_2

The Loop Sensor FESP 5133-F was designed to monitor the generated magnetic fields in radiated susceptibility tests. There is nearly no difference to the FESP 5133-7/41, which was originally designed for MIL-STD461E and previous versions, in which the RF-litz wire type AWG 7/41 was specified. Recent versions of MIL-STD461 F and G require a resistance between 5 Ω to 10 Ω for the loop sensor instead. This new requirement was met by the use of a suitable RF-litz wire, which provides a resistance of 7.5 Ω for the FESP 5133-F.

FESP 5133-7/41 - Circular screened Coil

  • Schwarzbeck FESP 133-7_41 circular shielded loop sensor

The magnetic field monitoring loop FESP 5133-7/41 was designed to measure magnetic fields in the frequency range up to 200 kHz. The coil is made of 36 turns AWG 7/41 RF-litz wire. The turns are shielded to suppress eventually disturbing electric fields. The field pickup coil can be attached to RF-voltmeters with high impedance or to measuring equipment with 50 Ω input. Depending on the connected equipment the respective correction factors must be used.

FESP 5134-1 - Magnetische Feldsensorspule

NEW

  • FESP5134-1

The magnetic, handheld field sensor coil FESP 5134-1 was designed to determine the magnetic fieldstrength during immunity tests. The loop sensor consists of a single shielded turn and can be used up to 400 MHz.

The FESP 5134-1 is intended to be used with 50 Ω measuring equipment, e.g. spectrum analyzers or measuring receivers. Thanks to the shielded turn the loop sensor achieves high symmetry and good E-field rejection.

Typical appli-cations are immunity tests acc. IEC 61000-4-39, several automotive standards, the measurement of human exposure limits acc. to ICNIRP, IEEE C.95-2005, 26.BImSchV and many others.

FESP 5134-40 - Field Monitoring Coil

  • Schwarzbeck FESP5134_40 Loop Sensor Antenna

The magnetic, handheld field sensor coil FESP 5134-40 was designed to determine the magnetic fieldstrength during immunity tests in conjunction with an appropriate voltmeter. The main application is in the audio frequency range and above up to approx. 250 kHz and fieldstrength values of 1 A/m or higher. The coil axis is perpendicular to the coil-plane, i.e. the maximum field indication is given with magnetic field lines being perpendicular to the coil-plane. The specified data refers always to uniform fields and optimum alignment of FESP 5134-40.

Number of turns: 51
Coil diameter: 40 mm
Usable Frequency Range: 5 Hz - 250 kHz
Resonance frequency: ca. 1 MHz
Inductance: ca. 100 µH
Resistance: 5 Ω

Weight:

43 g

Dimensions:

70 x 31 x 45 mm
