NFCN 9734 - Compensation Network

  • NFCN 9734

he primary function of the compensation network NFCN 9734 is to provide a serial compensation of the inductance of Helmholtz coils (e.g. the HHS 5206-16). Thus the currents needed to produce the desired field strength can be achieved using relatively low voltages. An integrated shunt allows measuring the coilcurrent and serves as minimum load for the power amplifier.

Technical data if used with HHS 5206-16:
Max continuous current: Up to 32 Arms
Dimensions: 447 mm x 470 mm x 191 mm
Capacitance range: 270 pF - 480 μF
Frequency range: DC – 200 kHz
Shunt: 0.5 W / 400 W

Weight:

17.5 kg
