MagTest System

The MagTest System is a system to generate magnetic fields and to perform tests regarding the susceptibility against magnetic fields in accordance with MIL-STD-461E (RS101), MIL461F, ISO 11452-8, EN 55103-1/2, EN 61000-4-8, SAE J1113-22, SAE J551-17 and other military or civil standards.

Most automotive manufacturers have derived their own standards, among them:

Peugeot Citroen B217110, Renault 36 - 00 - 808, Ford ES-XW7T- 1A278-AC and many others.

A further application is the calibration of magnetic loop antennas or sensors.

At least the system consists of a function generator as signal source, a power amplifier and a radiating loop or Helmholtz coil.

The system components will be individually configured for your requirements.

NFCN 9734 - Compensation Network

  • NFCN 9734

he primary function of the compensation network NFCN 9734 is to provide a serial compensation of the inductance of Helmholtz coils (e.g. the HHS 5206-16). Thus the currents needed to produce the desired field strength can be achieved using relatively low voltages. An integrated shunt allows measuring the coilcurrent and serves as minimum load for the power amplifier.

SHUNT 9571 Measuring Resistor

  • Schwarzbeck SHUNT 9571

The SHUNT 9571 is a measuring resistor for high power with low inductance.

he SHUNT 9571 is a measuring resis- tor which can be used in systems where magnetic fields have to be generated. When connected in series between an amplifier and a Helmholtz coil, the current can be measured indirectly. The voltage drop is proportional to the cur- rent through the coil.

The low inductive construction allows to use the SHUNT 9571 up to 250 kHz. Individual correction values for |Z| are provided in the calibration certificate from DC to 250 kHz.

Helmholtz coils act like a short circuit at low frequencies. The SHUNT 9571 pro- vides a protection circuit for the amplifier and has a resistive minimum load.

Frequency Range: DC – 250 kHz
Resistance values and max. continuous power rating:

2 x 500 mΩ / 400 W
1 x 1 Ω / 800 W
1 x 250 mΩ / 800 W

Weight: 13.5 kg
Dimensions (W/H/D): 447 mm x 144 mm x 470 mm
Power supply fans: 110/230 VAC 50/60 Hz

HS 3D-CONTROL - 3-dimensional magnetic field sensor for constant fields

NEW

  • HS 3D-CONTROL

The HS 3D-Control is a display unit which can be used to measure the 3-dimensional magnetic fieldstrength in conjunction with an appropriate sensor, e.g. to determine the earth's magnetic field.
