MagTest System
The MagTest System is a system to generate magnetic fields and to perform tests regarding the susceptibility against magnetic fields in accordance with MIL-STD-461E (RS101), MIL461F, ISO 11452-8, EN 55103-1/2, EN 61000-4-8, SAE J1113-22, SAE J551-17 and other military or civil standards.
Most automotive manufacturers have derived their own standards, among them:
Peugeot Citroen B217110, Renault 36 - 00 - 808, Ford ES-XW7T- 1A278-AC and many others.
A further application is the calibration of magnetic loop antennas or sensors.
At least the system consists of a function generator as signal source, a power amplifier and a radiating loop or Helmholtz coil.
The system components will be individually configured for your requirements.

LFPA 9733 C - Power amplifier
NEW |
The LFPA 9733 C is a multi-purpose power amplifier and can be used within the frequency range from 5 Hz to 1 MHz. Typical applications are magnetic immunity testing according to automotive standards and MIL-461. Its new output stage design allows for higher output in the high frequency range. Additionally it features a galvanically isolated input. Additionally unsymmetrical signals (as defined in GMW 3097) can be processed.

NFCN 9734 - Compensation Network
|
he primary function of the compensation network NFCN 9734 is to provide a serial compensation of the inductance of Helmholtz coils (e.g. the HHS 5206-16). Thus the currents needed to produce the desired field strength can be achieved using relatively low voltages. An integrated shunt allows measuring the coilcurrent and serves as minimum load for the power amplifier.

SHUNT 9571 Measuring Resistor
|
The SHUNT 9571 is a measuring resistor for high power with low inductance.
he SHUNT 9571 is a measuring resis- tor which can be used in systems where magnetic fields have to be generated. When connected in series between an amplifier and a Helmholtz coil, the current can be measured indirectly. The voltage drop is proportional to the cur- rent through the coil.
The low inductive construction allows to use the SHUNT 9571 up to 250 kHz. Individual correction values for |Z| are provided in the calibration certificate from DC to 250 kHz.
Helmholtz coils act like a short circuit at low frequencies. The SHUNT 9571 pro- vides a protection circuit for the amplifier and has a resistive minimum load.

HS 5136 - Hall-Sensor
|
The Hall sensor HS 5136 can be used to measure magnetic field strengths for immunity tests according to MIL STD 461 and various automotive standards. It measures static and dynamic magnetic fields with field strengths up to 9000 A/m (pk). The HS 5136 is a transverse probe, i.e. the magnetic flux lines must be orthogonal to the longitudinal probe axis and orthogonal to the surface of the Hall-element to obtain the maximum reading

HS 3D-CONTROL - 3-dimensional magnetic field sensor for constant fields
NEW |
The HS 3D-Control is a display unit which can be used to measure the 3-dimensional magnetic fieldstrength in conjunction with an appropriate sensor, e.g. to determine the earth's magnetic field.
Magnetic field values of the x-, y- and z-axis can be read separately from each other. It is also possible to read the magnitude, inclination and declination directly on the device. The display of the measured values can be set in [μT] or [A/m].
With the help of a Zero-Gauss chamber (e.g. Opt. 5136 ZG) the sensor can be zeroed against the earth's magnetic field. The measured values can be output serially via the USB connection. Depending on the desired measuring range there are different sensor heads available

HS 3D-SENS50T1 - 3D magnetic field sensor head for DC fields
NEW |
The HS 3D-SENS50T1 is a 3-dimensional magnetic field sensor head for measuring DC fields, such as the earth's magnetic field. Magnetic field values can be measured separately from the x-, y- and z-axis. The HS 3D CONTROL display unit is required to display the measured values.
